Portpatrick Village

Portpatrick is a charming, unspoilt village. It is set around a beautiful little harbour. There are several attractive beaches within easy driving distance and stunning cliff walks along the coast. The Southern Upland Way has its western starting point in the village.

Dunskey Golf Club, above the village to the North, has a 9 and an 18-hole course, with wonderful views out across the North Channel to Ireland.

The village also has a fine putting green on the harbourside. There is a bowling green and all-weather tennis courts beside the harbour.

The village is well served by waterfront pubs, a general store, a post office, several craft and gift shops, and good restaurants. A key feature of village life is the sea-going Portpatrick lifeboat.
